Full Bio

From software engineer to devoted yogi.

Barry Au-Yeung spent years in software before yoga reshaped his path. His practice is rooted in Ashtanga Mysore-style discipline, and that same rigor and patience carries directly into how he teaches — precise, attentive, and unhurried.

Over 10 years of teaching experience and consistently strong reviews from students across the Bay Area back up what his classes feel like in person: challenging, detailed, and genuinely supportive, whether you're brand new to the mat or years into your own practice.

Today Barry holds the E-RYT500 and YACEP certifications and teaches both in-studio and online, with a simple goal driving all of it — sharing the profound benefits of yoga with students everywhere, not just those who can afford a boutique studio.

“Over 10 years of teaching experience and solid reviews from students.”
