For daily practice, not decoration

This is the mat Barry actually rolls out for his own practice — not a studio prop designed to look good in a photo. It's built for the unglamorous parts of practice: the sweaty vinyasa flows, the long-held holds in a hot room, the mornings you show up half-awake and need something under you that won't slide.
The surface is a natural, non-slip rubber-and-cork blend that grips better the more you sweat on it, not less. Underneath, a closed-cell base keeps moisture from soaking through, so it wipes clean and doesn't hold onto odor the way cheaper foam mats do. We chose materials that are as low-impact as we could reasonably source, because a mat that's supposed to help you feel more connected to your body shouldn't come at a cost to the world around it.
At 5mm thick, it's cushioned enough for knees and wrists on longer floor sequences, but still stable enough for balance work — no wobbly sinking-in feeling. One mat, built to be used daily for years, not replaced every season.
