This class is about the craft that separates a class that just moves through poses from one that actually builds somewhere. We break down how to construct a full vinyasa sequence around a single peak pose — choosing the shape, working backward to identify exactly which muscle groups, joint actions, and ranges of motion need to be warmed and opened first, and building counter-poses that let the body recover instead of just moving on.
We'll practice sequencing in real time on the mat, then step back and talk through the logic out loud — the same way you'd need to explain it if you were building a class for your own students. This is the kind of foundational teaching skill that's easy to skip in flashier programs, but it's the difference between a class that feels random and one that feels intentional from the first breath to the final rest.
Best taken after you've worked through Anatomy of the Spine and the Foundations of Vinyasa Flow module, since we build directly on both. Grab a mat, a block, and a notebook — there's a short written sequencing exercise near the end.
